OUR STORY AND PASTORS

Pastor Paul, his wife Karen, and daughter Kelly moved to New Jersey in 1985 to plant a new Assemblies of God church in Delran.  Working in cooperation with the New Jersey District Assemblies of God, they started Calvary Temple in October of that year.  Under their leadership the church has steadily grown numerically and spiritually.  The church began in a funeral home, moved from there to a school and finally to a mall before completing the first phase of the building that the church now calls home. In 2024, Pastor Paul passed the leadership baton to Pastor Dan McCarthy, who will continue to lead this church forward in the next generation to ensure No ONE is without Jesus.

Pastor Dan was called to Calvary Church in 2014 as our Student Ministries pastor and soon after transitioned to Worship, Production & Young Adults Pastor. In 2014, he led a brand new ministry called "Resonate" – a Young Adults ministry connecting more than 60 local churches in the area for worship and prayer. In 2024 , Pastor Dan was voted in to be the Lead Pastor of Calvary Church. Pastor Dan met his lovely wife, Kyla at Calvary Church, and they have a beautiful daughter, Andi Rose. Pastor Dan's vision that the Lord has laid on his heart is to see 1% of Burlington County come to know Jesus, and work towards our mission of No ONE without JESUS.
