KIDS LIFE

Kids' Life happens during every Sunday Worship Experience

What is Kids Life?

Here at Kids' Life, we strive every week to create a safe and exciting environment where children of all ages can discover Jesus and build life-long friendships. We embrace the vision of our church and look to instill the values of connecting, growing, serving, going, and leading into the lives of every child. By partnering with parents and families, we believe that together, we can reach the next generation and help every child love God, and serve people so that no child is without Jesus!

What We Value

Safe

Safety is the precursor to everything else we want to do here in Kids Life. Therefore, we go to great lengths to ensure every child is safe. Each child is given a PIN (Parent Identification Number) for check-in/out, every volunteer (18 & up) is screened and given a federal background check. Additionally, every hallway is monitored with security personnel, and because every child is unique, every teacher is made aware of all allergies, preferences, and special needs. We can't do what we do each Sunday without first providing kids with a safe environment to engage, learn and grow!

Clean

The environment a child walks into creates a lasting impression on both the child and parent. We strive to cultivate a clean, organized, and well-structured atmosphere because attention to detail underscores the value we see in every child.  Each one of our Kids' Life classrooms are thoroughly evaluated on a weekly basis to ensure they are both child safe as well as clean. Toys are wiped after every service and are replaced often. Storage bins are organized regularly.  We are committed to the overall health and wellness of our Kids Life children -- spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Relational

Jesus knows every child's name. We want to show kids that Jesus knows them intimately by creating a culture that allows them to be both known and loved by their peers and teachers. We are passionate about developing lasting relationships with each child who attends our program. We believe that personal connections with peers and adults alike are essential in every child's journey with Jesus.

Fun

We serve a creative God! His creation shows us He has a heart that is innovative, interactive, and fun. One thing we adults can learn from our children is to remember to be silly and joyful. In Kids Life, we strive to create an environment that leaves kids with their eyes wide in wonder and their bellies aching with laughter, because we believe that this glorifies our God.

Check-in process

If you are new to Kids' Life, first of all, welcome! We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early to check your child in. Your first stop will be our check-in station. At check-in, we provide a secure system to ensure your child is safe while in our program. We make sure to enforce our check-in policy so you can view the service with confidence that your child is well taken care of. Upon arrival, you will find our welcome team members ready to greet you and direct you to our check-in location.
We can’t wait to see you!

+ONE Special Needs

At Calvary Church we understand the importance of caring for a variety of children. In 2018 we launched a special needs program to allow parents who wanted to attend on a Sunday morning an opportunity to feel confident about who is caring for their child(ren.) Our +ONE ministry pairs each child with a teacher who is able to assess their specific needs and assist them in their appropriate classroom.  If a child is unable to attend a class, we also have a sensory room available.
Thinking about joining us on Sunday & have a child with a special need? Feel free to complete the questionnaire below so we can determine together how to best care for your child.

Child Dedication

Here at Calvary Church  we practice child dedication. This is a time when parents pledge their commitment to raise their child according to Christian values and beliefs. While a very meaningful event, this is not a Christian baptism, according to the Bible.
